 | | | Wit Stwosz is named after the legendary sculptor who created the altarpiece in St. Mary's Church. It is an apt choice, as the hotel is owned by that venerable institution. This is a tasteful hotel, with elegant furnishings. Little details such as icons on the walls all add to a traditional Polish atmosphere. The location is marvellous, and the hotel itself is in a fine old sixteenth century townhouse. Yet there's nothing musty about the place - it has recently been restored and is in good shape. Bathrooms are pristine and modern and the prices eminently reasonable for this part of town. A great find. | |
